Okay so in all of the practice essays I've read plus the pasr hsc questions they always ask bout belonging and not belonging..
So when I'm preparing my essay can they ask only for the aspect of belonging?

Paper 1 consists of, short comprehension questions relating to belonging. Part 2 : Creative writing, relating to belonging. Part 3: Essay on your prescribed text + related text, relating to belonging. So all of paper one is belonging.

Yes- it has to be related to belonging. It could be anything though in regards to belonging: its effects, its links, its causes etc.

What I mean is can they only focus on the positive aspect on belonging, disregarding any links of not belonging or do they have to include both concepts
Cause all the sample answers and past questions include both aspects

You worded your question pretty poorly.

They can ask the question on either aspect.

They could even combine the question.
