Well im really getting into incubus at the moment, also the living end who i saw recently. That and bon jovi, cold chisel, breaking benjamin, the butterfly effect and powderfinger.
Wolfmother is overrated and so is james blunt, who i noticed was number 3 on the zoo weeklys most hated people list.

What about death, which is the major shake up, they've hardly survived all the elements.
Zeppelin, Queen, Gunners, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols, The Doors, Alice Cooper etc.

rock generally requires some sort of musical ability
leave the sex pistols for a punk music thread

Um the Red Hot Chili Peppers have had to deal with death. Hillel Slovak the original guitarist and died of a heroin overdoes in 1988. And when I say original guitarist I mean he started playing with Anthony Kiedis and Flea when they were in high school together. I'd say that was a major shake up.

Err..the Misfits and Black Flag for best rock band?

As much as I love Misfits (both Danzig + Graves period) and as much as I love Black Flag (Rollins period + his spoken word performances), and as influential as they may be in the hardcore scene, putting them as the best rock bands? What the fuck is wrong with ya.
