This thread makes me sorry for teachers. ffs you can't even pat a crying year 1 student on the shoulder without someone crying pedo these days. Get over it seriously, even if he does find you hot for some reason he's not technically doing anything but his job by being helpful and you can't prove he was staring (which you might be imagining/exaggerating in your mind anyway). If he tries to touch your special place or actually says something creepy then you can complain.

Lol that's pretty seedy. I doubt I'll have that problem, younger guys are not really my cup of tea. Plus there's something about a school uniform that just says NO. Probably the fact that they're still at school. I couldn't find that attractive. Not even as a joke. it'd be too weird.

In all seriousness im on the other side of this debate and often teachers will choose a few students to focus on in the class when they make eye contact or are explaining and you just get into the habit of looking into that area of the classroom...whether its because its an area of trouble in the classroom or your looking at a kid who you know might be struggling...but seriously if this is bothering you speak to your year advisor about it but make it clear your uncomfortable and you dont think theres anything in it, maybe ask the year advisor to make a general comment to the teacher or something along the lines of anonymity

I agree with everything in this post, except the bolded section, mainly because it would be difficult to make an anonymous comment if indeed the teacher consciously and knowingly for eg makes eye contact with said student.

There are many logical reasons behind this though, so i wouldn't be too fussed. Even limited physical contact such as touching your shoulder et al should not concern you too deeply.

If anything else becomes 'deep' though, then you could complain. /poor pun, bawdy humour.

Bloody oath. Even more so what do you mean "for some reason". By year 12 your pretty much an adult. I don't see anything weird about a teacher finding an 18 year old girl attractive. As long as he doesn't act on it it shouldn't matter if he does think she's hot.

There was one experience I had where a substitute teacher acted this way towards me, as well as asking questions about my cultural background and trying to converse with me about Hong Kong because I am Asian. It did freak me out slightly but perhaps try not to make eye contact with them as much?
