I would say so too ... I test drove one of them, the handbrake is foot operated.

I don't know ... I think you push it once to release the handbrake, twice to engage it ... hence stops the problem of it locking up the brakes by accident. Can't really remember tho.

That's most likely it ... can really remember as it was a while back. If it was the camry or the avalon, I would go the camry as I don't really like the foot operated handbrake ... same all-alloy 3ltr V6 engine in both, producing 141kw ... I would also say the avalon is a bit more heavier.

Why would they want an avalon? Camry is the way to go.

but its pretty hard to kick it by accident, as its very high compared to the brake and accelerator. u actually have to try and hit it, unless ur a very unco person
