nah, it's different, different is good!! it's normally spelt jackie so i spose that's why. but i like the qui (u know, some letters just look good together), i don't like kie for jackie

hehe soma penso che tu sia il solo ragazzo in questo forum
non so perche' tanti ragazzi non si piaccono fare l'italiano - alla scuola che ho fatto la prova parlata c'erano molte piu' ragazze rispetto ai ragazzi.. circa 90% o piu'
anche circa 95% delle persone mi hanno sembrato italiane... e' un gran vantaggio essere italiano (e studiare la lingua)?

nella mia classe ci sono 4 ragazzi e 6 ragazze. Siamo andati a Swinburne university e il professored'italiano ha detto che e' vantaggioso di NON conoscere la lingua prima perche' tutto che impari e' nuovo e non e' possibile di confuse (sorry haven't got a dictionary on me!) con il dialetto.

Does that make sense? How many mistakes!!

yeah it makes sense

to confuse = confondere (?? i think)

i agree with what mei ling was saying about guys not choosing italian..this was evident at the oral exam. i was there for the first session and there were only a few guys and the rest girls.

when i went i think it was even

but i think overall that more girls choose languages

i think more girls do beginners,
when i was there for extension the beginners were there too, we were all in one big hall and yeh i reckon 90% of beginners were girls. Some were fair hot too :D

did it look like there were ITALIAN BACKGROUND beginners?? that's something i've always wanted to know
