Im looking at Commerce Law at UNSW however I doubt I'd get 99.20 for my UAI however in the UAC guide, it says for Commerce Law for the DFEE and IFEE row, that you only need 94 which i dont understand.
well the reason why the uai is only 94 for DFEE and IFEE is that a lot less people are willing to pay full fee, in the vicinity of 10 grand a year, which is why the uai is so high for commonwealth sypported places and lower for full fee places

Like I don't even know what most of the courses are about :/
e.g Bachelor of Arts and blah blah.
The faculty handbooks are useful in finding more about what you actually study over the course of the degree with other information that is not in the UAC guide. They can be found at each respective uni site.

B Commerce (International) - UNSW
B Commerce (Liberal Studies) - UNSW
B Economics (Liberal Studies) - UNSW
B Arts/Commerce - UNSW
B Arts/Economics - UNSW
B Liberal Studies - UNSW
B Arts - UNSW

Well, those are in the order I'm looking at, but really, if I got into ANY of them, I'd be immensely happy either way! Atm, I'd probably end up in Arts by the look of things... so, meh!

Might go put it in today or on Friday arvo when my trials finish.

I wouldn't mind teaching! It's just that, well, I don't think I have much patience, and I really can't picture myself doing it. I'd be horrible at it. :S

Well.. so far I have:

1. B Speech Pathology @ Uni of Newcastle - 89.05
2. B Health Science (Speech Pathology) @ Charles Sturt - 76.45
3. B Speech and Hearing Science @ Charles Sturt - 76.25

then fill up the rest with B Arts or Medical Science.. I haven't finished yet.

I don't think I'll get into any of those 3 highest preferences though - I'm relying on rural points for both Newy and CSU.. hopefully. Eek.

Plus I'm replying to VTAC to go to uni in Melbourne which is really where I want to be.

hey, im wondering......for example if my first preference UAI is 87 and my 2nd is like 80.....what if i get like a UAI of 79 or 83? does that jepordise me a place in uni? or would UAC just go down to my next preference?

I don't see your so-called point.
i think he is saying that you should put down courses that are lower in terms of UAI just in case you don't get in
just to be on the safe side i guess

well form the scenario you point out, if you get 83, then you will be offered your 2nd preference, but if you get 79 and the lowest UAI cutoff that you have on your preferenes is 80, then i dont think you'll be offered a place.
but you never know, the UAI cut off fluctautes every year, so dont let the UAI cut off deter you from what you want to achieve.

i think all u can do is hope like hell that when u get ur uai if it is lower that the uni will accept u even though u didnt go through the cutoff line but. i think ur choices will still be sent to the unis or whereever they go

Why put down Medicine as top 2 when it's got nothing to do with law???
