i said before that i don't know what store yet. i applied by phone (i got the number off a card in the bondi store, but they aren't hiring), and after a phone screening thing i was offered a group interview for the following week. i went and they called me nearly a week after the interview to tell me i got the job. i think the positions generally do cease after christmas/new years, but they offer some people more work depending on their productivity and so forth.

I was employed as a casual last october and have been working at the hornsby store since.
The xmas casuals that we hired last xmas were there for about 2 or 3 months. They were all actually asked if they wanted to stay on because the hornsby store was always short of workers.

I have no idea what to expect and what kind of questions they're going to ask me. =/

I applied and just had a brief short phone interbiew today. Said they'll let me know by Friday if I've made it to the next round. Btw, is this for the Chatswood store?

Nope, it's for the new store that's opening in Haymarket.

They're holding group interviews on Saturday, so hopefully I'll see you there.

Heh, I'm pretty nervous though.

I found their ad on seek and there were advertising part-time and casual positions. It did not specificy what role although it ismost probably sales.
