Shannon is a 5 cent imitation of Jimmy Barnes whereas Delta is actually a talented musician. However she is not a 'cute guy from the country' and thus, in the popularity contest they call "Idol", she would have no chance, much like Paulini didn't.

ah why did you start this? they are my 2 favourite aussi singers atm.

i will vote delta, because she has made it on her own, is incredibly talented, interested in her fans and has proven her worth as a singer. she has good songs. i don't mind guys songs, but they are nothing special. however, i also like guy, and personality wise they both seem to be great people.

no, delta would not have beaten guy on aussie idol. she would have been balmed off as the other chicks were. it's not a contest of who has the best voice, but who has the whole package, and delta would have been seen as another britney / mandy, much the same image as when she first came out.
