It always weirds me out when Christians etc believe what's written in the bible when it specifically says we're all sinners and man is not to be trusted as he is not divine . Yet the bible was written by man (several men) all with their own agendas.

So obviously the whole bible is full of sin and not to be trusted.

Btw God isn't killing us.
Humans are given free will, so its humanities greed and senselessness that resulted in the happenings in Egypt.

Please don't make comments without fully exploring the Bible. Because the Bible was written by men, but spoken By the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is not full of sin, and if you want to make a statement, please prove it.

Well if thats what you choose to believe, then feel free.
But please refrain from making insensitive comments "nope."

the fact that you would approve to such violence and inhumane treatment, really reflects you as a person.
So please be aware of the comments you make.
Your question was whether everyone "found it displeasing" so I guess I do find it displeasing because the military is the worst thing ever

but

That being said I rarely care about what happens in the Middle East because it's pretty ass backwards fighting over holy sand that long dead barely literate peasants raped children on and therefore we must cleanse the infidels and kaffirs and all that retarded nonsense

Whenever a religious person pulls this, it is incredibly infuriating

why did god make humans? i mean if he is almighty powerful and wise, what possible benefit is there to creating little peons? if its to 'see us do good' doesn't that make him sadistic? because if he truly cared about us he would make evil impossible and everything nice and rosey? rather he chooses to give us free will, knowing we are going to slaughter, rape and pillage each other just so he can get that little dose of serotonin when someone does a good thing?

To those who are religious...

What if you were born in say, the middle of the Amazon - where Christianity (or any other religion for that matter) has not spread to. How are you to heed the word of God if you don't even know of the possible existence of them?

Yes i know what my question was. And i am also aware of what your response was "nope." So before making statements or responding to someones question, stop and think what your actually answering.

Well in all truth, even if YOU care or not it doesn't really matter.
You live in a country that provides social welfare, has a "respectable" government, so you can sit on your computer and make ignorant comments "i rarely care about what happens"
You do not know the nature of what the persecutions were about, so please don't make empty statements.

Adam and eve were guided by god (the holy ghost if we're talking about the trinity). They were specifically instructed not to do eat the apple. They did.

Why would it be any different for Moses/the disciples who are not only man but had a myriad of personal agendas and life experiences which would curb their thinking.

The Bible is riddled with repetitions and contradictions, things that the Bible bangers would be quick to point out in anything that they want to criticize.

I have fully "explored" the bible and I've come to the conclusion it was about as well written as harry potter and about as believable.

I actually asked that question at one stage.
And in all truth, if haven't been exposed to any religion, your not.

Try re-wording your sentence, it almost contradicts itself.

Again, that comes under humanities free will "They were specifically instructed not to do eat the apple. They did. "

I don't understand what point your making. How exactly is the Bible riddled and what contradictions have you found?

answer my question please

why did god make humans? i mean if he is almighty powerful and wise, what possible benefit is there to creating little peons? if its to 'see us do good' doesn't that make him sadistic? because if he truly cared about us he would make evil impossible and everything nice and rosey? rather he chooses to give us free will, knowing we are going to slaughter, rape and pillage each other just so he can get that little dose of serotonin when someone does a good thing?
why would an infinitely powerful entity want to create peons with free will and watch them suffer just on the off chance they do something good once in a while so he feels good about himself,,,,

also what happens if god wants to make a boulder which is so heavy nothing can pick it up. can god pick up that boulder?

yes of course God can do everything and anything and he doesn't need a reason.

He just can!

Can I give you an example?
When you fall in love with someone, do you love them because they brainwashed you and bet you up (sounds stupid)
Or do you love them, when you are completely and utterly sane and aware that you love them.
God gave us free will and gave us a brain. If you are telling me that "you" or us as "humans" are incapable of deciding whether or not rape, murder, and slaughter is morally incorrect and unacceptable then it is OUR fault.
I always come across people who argue that its GOD's fault everything bad happens, never do we actually consider it to be our mishap.
