I try to drink 2-3 bottles of water (i keep re-filling the medium sized mt.franklin bottle), its the only way i can keep proper track of how much water i drink. But i honestly dont know if its enough or not.

one needs approximately 2ounce of water to survive. perday

but to manage homeostatis e.g cellular resp. we need water.
as it is constantly being expelled from our system an easy way to check is to see how your water system is:
check how yellow your ....excretion is,
the more yellow it is the more dehydrated you are,
the more clear it the better for your body, it's not too acidic it's diluted.

i drink two sips perday btw

i think it means if ur pee is yellow, thats no good, ur dehydrated. ifs it white ur good, theres no acid in ur pee

I only drink like 1L of water each day which is bad considering i weight 48kg. But i drink other fluids as well like coffee and fruit juice =)
I weigh 75kg. If I drunk 7.5 litres I'll be as big as a whale. :uhhuh:

1. you get headaches, muscle tension, you're thirsty
generally you get dehydrated before you're thirsty. in severe cases weight loss, your urine has more solutes in it and is therefore heavier and darker


2. long term effects include kidney damage :)

If I don't drink enough water I get headaches and I get cranky.

You do have to train yourself to drink lots of water. It takes a bit of effort and a lot of toilet breaks but it's worth it.

Agree about the training thing. Some people go on diets; I go on water binges. I can never keep it up properly for longer than a week (but trying lol). Rest of the time I get by on like 600ml a day maybe more if I've been exercising.
