hey guys,
not sure if this is in the right thread but yeah...anyway, my question is: in the hsc modules for advanced English, if I averaged say, 13-14 in each essay what band would I be looking at ROUGHLY? would it be high enough for a band 5?

It depends on how hard you're school marks. With 13/14 it would be possible to get band 5 depending on the circumstances.

oops, I probably wasn't very specific in my question. I actually meant in the external modules exam. thanks for the response so though!

Externally, if you averaged that, I'd say low band 5/high band 4

What marks would you need to average for a band 6 then absolute? 16-18's?

i got my raw marks back. i got 18.5 19 14.5 and i got 95. however i practically aced AOS. The thing is if you get 14 average you will 100% definitley get a band 5 no doubt about it. they scale like crazy in adv. but i got 20 20 20 in my trials and these were my hsc marks (above, second sentence) and i though i raped the hsc ones too. expect the hsc module markers to mark epic hard.

what was your total raw mark out of 105?
