so annoyed but - MPW and WB were both 2% which was only about 1 mark in the exam off a D :( so close.... but ah well

got the GPA i need to keep my scholarships so that's all i cared about 1st semester of 1st year:)

Ah brings back memories from last year. Similar position to you, two marks out for a D in Criminal Justice and 1 mark out for a D for Psychology.

THanks for the encouragment Cape. My concern lies with the effort I put into torts, especially when I even referred to the Old English Common Law.

Effort sometimes doesn't pay off :(

I think the thing that stopped me from getting credits was the fact that both the tourism subjects I did, and urban geography contained group work.

GROUP WORK SUCKS!

Righto, I've clamed down slightly.

I think I will apply for an appeal on my torts exam. I am not sure what happened there. I suppose just an explanation as to the way it was marked would suffice.
Agreed, some form of like generic "feedback" sheet would be good...stating what they were after afta etc. Like I reckon my essay was fine and I at least felt like the prob. quest. I answer right. and i had a HD for the assignment so I mustn't have done too good in the exam :S. odd.

Same situation, I calculated what mark I would have got roughly. That mark would have equated to a Pass for the exam. Just sounds too out of proportion.

Demandred got:

Intro to law: P - 59 ( 30/50 before exams)
Torts: C - 65 (20/35 before exams)
Microeconomics: D - 83 (49/55 before exams)
Australia and Global Economy: HD 90 (34.5/40 before exams)

Average mark - 74.25

I guess this reflected his efforts.

Most probably they gave too many high marks for your assingments. They brought you back in the exams.

There were many low marks in the assignment. The assignment was probably harder.

I definitely wouldn't be disappointed with that, that's madness and probably pretty insulting to a lot of people who wished they had your luck...congratulations on your marks...don't be disappointed, you can't get much better...don't think they give out many straight 100%s :p

Skills Development In The Human Services - Satisfactory (the only gave out U or S thats what fucked my GPA and transfer up most :mad::mad: fkn unit, i think S counts as a pass in terms of GPA )

Introduction To Sociology - 69 - Credit (musta fucked up the exam coz i had bout 48% before the exam which was worth 40%)

Social Policy 1 - 73 - Credit (2% from a D :mad::mad::mad:)
