Steve Marlet, Phillipe Mexes, Boumsong, Kapo, Morieira, Sidney Govou... plus many players that don't come to mind just now..

i like the French league, heaps of talent.. and you don't have the big teams like Real Madrid there that dominate. Sure, there are bigger clubs like Lyon, Marseille, PSG, Lille, Monaco, Lens etc.. but they dont dominate the competition like, say, Rangers/Celtic dominate the SPL. So its not suprising to watch the French Liga and see Ajaccio overcome a full strength Lyon side at home.

A special point of reference is Mido-Drogba.. really one of my favourite pairings in Europe.
