The flaw in
"Attractive women never really had a problem with marriage 1.0 where the woman doesn't work and they live off the husband's earnings (and don't ever divorce) because they got the first pick of men!"
Is that they did have a problem with marriage 1.0. Some women would love that situation and I don't deny it. But it doesn't hold as a true statement. What if the husband turns out to be abusive? Getting the 'first pick' doesn't guarantee much in the long term. It takes many people years to realise they don't love eachother, or to find out that they no longer want to be together. The 'attractive women' in this scenario are thus unhappy, but under your conditions they can't divorce. This is one problem with marriage 1.0
