i hate maths.. its such a cold subject. you have to give the right answer to get the mark.. unlike all the other subjects, you can fidge it a bit and get the mark.

but i dont mind maths really. its not easy, but its not hard. theres just alot of work.

software engineering hey? pretty goovy.

its not just software engg, its software engg + finance: this results in not doing maths, but doing maths with more maths !!! :mad1: :mad1:

yeah, the difference between 2unit and general is pretty big... i reckon alot of two unit people, this far into the HSC, wouldnt be able to handle the switch to general maths, because its just so different.

yeah thats so true! just last week a mate of mine who is doing general asked for my help.. she thought i would no coz i do 2unit..

i looked at the question and i had ABSOLUTE NO IDEA! LOL. yeah it was taxation and all these credit card stuff. i had no idea LOL

yeah and the simpsons rule u guys r doing is different from ours too...

i bet ya if i was made to sit a gerneral exam i would flunk miserably.

dont worry, i see a 2unit paper and run a mile... i cant even remember how to factorise or anything these days :cool:

oi, is general maths the same as "maths in soceity" from the old hsc? the syllabus sounds similar ....

the maths syllabus hasnt changed that much aye? has it changed at all?

i think the last 2 chapters of 4u have changed a bit, not too sure ...
