I analed this exam. They practically gave away the marks.q7 was unbelievably easy. I don't know what you people are complaining about,and some of you are expecting a Uai of 99.9.

from not attempting,

nahh, i'm sure i did too.. But i tried to attempt everything, even if it was just writing the formulas and working something out.

i answered about 30 marks of the entire test. the painful thing is last year's paper for me, was incredibly easy compared to this year.

in conclusion, that paper can go to hell.

so, u only attempted 2 q's?
or did u attempt everythin but wrote really small and ignored the fact that u had to write each q. on separate books?

besides, wouldnt they just recycle the books?

yeh 7 was easy in that they led you through most of the questions. but i just had no idea how to do the second last part of it

i think q's 1 through 5 were okay in most parts...
but the last 2 questions were hell... id be lucky to get 5 marks out of those two.
but in saying that i got the 3d trig out to be okay.. it wasnt all that hard.
but still, i would be happy with a pass!!! 30/50.

im feeling alot better than after the 2unit on monday. i cried for hours.

one kid in my exam from a different school wrote his answers for questions one two and threee in one booklet!!

how do they fix that??!

alrite, i unerstand a lot of ppl arent great at maths, but seriously

if u cant get10 marks for Q1, 8 for Q2, 7 for Q3, 8 for Q4, 6 for Q5, 5 for Q 6, and 3 for Q7 then u shouldnt be doin 3Unit maths

thats 47 marks that should be in the bag - and if u are not a 'good' 3U student, u shoulda pikerd out those Q's which u can do and make sure u get them right, instead of attempting everything

seriiously, and u say that 07' was MUCH easier - maybe so, but it doesnt warrant a 30 mark drop

look thru the paper again,a nd tell me there arent 45 'easy' marks there

does it takes heaps of practice and stuff or is it just like an indistinct and as soon as u see the problem, u know where to start and which part to slide?

ur even better than my maths teacher! my teacher takes about 30-60secs

do you think many people found this exam easy like above conics perspn?

i can see this test being easy for some, unfortunately i'm not one of them

maximum mark i couldve got is about 73-74, which is fair i suppose but i couldve done better

Wasn't too hard, just long. The only parts i couldn't do were the last part of the car and spectator Q and the 2nd part of the perms and coms Q, Ran out of time as I was doing the 2nd last part of the projectile question in Q7. Oh and I fucked the binomial Q up a bit.

Overall, it was a good paper, really tested your abilities and knowledge in extension 1 as pwnage 101 said. i think i got a raw mark of 70+/84. Im very happy with how i went
