Dear Students,

Whether you are a new or returning student, as you begin your studies
at UNSW, you will meet people from different backgrounds and those who
have values and ideas which vary from your own. I want to remind you
that while UNSW is a place where we cherish academic and student
freedom of expression, vilification of others is both unacceptable and
is of course, against the law in NSW.

Regards

Yeah, really not there anymore. Was making a loss so voluntary ARC couldn't afford to run it. Uni took it off their hands and said they'd open one up after the blockhouse referbishment. Looks like yet another winning move from UNSW, serving the students. No where on campus does it anymore.

How is it making a loss when the machines are already there and they charge us for the binding stuff? The cost of electricity? I doubt they require a huge amount of maintenance. Showing yet again that ARC is stupid and run by arts students.

They're not a cult - they're a political party. The 'Citizens' Electoral Council'. They follow the ideas of Lyndon LaRouche, a US economist who thinks the world financial system will collapse in 10 years or less. They also think it is a viable political move to build a Eurasian land-bridge. Go figure.

I think it was on Tuesday? I dunno, I just heard it happened (and it didn't seem like a drill).

doesnt running fire drills for a building full of a random group of students at any one time seem a bit pointless?
