Most importantly... does it have teflon?
If it does, i'll refund mine and get a new one.
If you want a straightener which won't turn your hair to straw like most hardcore ceramic ones, you'll want it to have teflon or some sort of protective layer.

I wouldn't have a clue if it had teflon, but no it's no the digital one. My hair is naturally curly and thick and it doesn't turn my hair to straw at all and it doesn't give those tell-tale straightener ends which I hate- I wouldn't use it if it did.

There's nothing worse than those ends that stick out so that you can tell that someone has been using a straightener. It's adjustable too, so you can set it for the thickness of your hair.

We were going along
To a particular song
Just hanging around
Feet scuffing the ground
Catching us on a roll
We were collecting the dole
Doesn't mean something's wrong

We were just slipping along
Slipping along
Slipping along
Yeah
Slipping along

At a party we found
People hanging around
There was nothing to do
We were smoking a few
Saw two girls outside
They were both pretty wired
I thought something was wrong
But they were just getting it on

Slipping along
Yeah
Slipping along
1, 2, 3, 4
So long,
I'm slipping on, and on
Yeah

Is it possible to spark your hair a bit with a hair straightener?

how? does it use some products?

by the way, can you answer my question? can you use the hair straightener to sorta "shape" it the way you want it (e.g. sparking it up a bit)

If by spark it up you mean electrocute yourself, use it in the bath and see what happens

If you mean use the straightener to create spikes or flicks or some kind of style then yes you can. Technically you can curl your hair with them. It's kind of hard but its possible. You just pull/twist the straightener in the direction you want your hair to go.

Sorry for my poor worded question. Yeah, that's what I wanted to hear. My friend does and I was wondering how he could do that..obviously by using a hair straightener.

Another question:

why do people say that GHD is the best (or probably the best)? It is because it styles better or..? What are the "criterias"???
By the way, what's so good about having ceramic hair straightener as opposed to others?

Thanks

i got a ghd mini styler the other day. they are pretty much for guys. they retail for 279 but get thermal protector too if you wanna spend another 35 bucks.

ghd's heat up really quickly---like 8sec apparently(i always count 14 sec damn it), they last a long time, the ceramic plates are meant to be better for your hair - ie not singe it or draw to much moisture out etc and they are just overall sexy.

I just got the ghd hair staighter delivered.

For this one, do you always have to apply the thermal protection thing everytime I use this?
