Correction: I don't know of anyone to play at uni. Because I'm not sure if the connection required is supported by the college network.

I wasn't been sarcastic. Apparently bioshock really doesn't have multiplayer.

You could prob ask your IT people if you can run xbox live. It's well worth it for other games like Gears of Phwoar.

I never got into GoW on Live. It just doesn't have as much depth as, say, Halo's multiplayer. I only ever played with friends, maybe a couple of ranked matches. Tiedgen (I think you probably know him, Stas) is extremely good at it. He's in the top 400 worldwide for the gametype Annex, which isn't that special, but he's still awesome at it. He has all but two achievements, one being the 10,000 kill achievement and the other being "Win 20 rounds of multiplayer matches in Annex by fewer than 5 points" which he tells me is hard too.

I just calculated my average gamer score, and it's around 200. That's shocking. I need to pleh moar 360.

I'll ask the guy on my floor with a 360 if it's possible; I'd only really be after it for multiplayer and the IT department aren't particularly friendly when it comes to stuff like gaming (some smart cookie brought a original XBox with one of the two Halo games and set it up on the college's large-screen TV; it's an absolute blast).

Sandtrap supposedly shows the Elephant vehicle, but I haven't seen it as it cuts out after about forty-five second and the Tsavo Highway video loads for some stupid reason. Judging by the people talking in the background, the video is from Leipzig.

This is also a pretty interesting article on how Bungie go about perfecting their games.

Yeah, I've read that article. I found it very interesting that they put that much effort into making the game perfect. I also liked the fact that even Bungie didn't like Halo 2 in it's final form, enough to say that they were like, "Oh shit..." when they had to release it. I say this because I didn't feel Halo 2 was that great, and it pretty much confirms that Halo 3 is going to be much, much better. And with all the features they're throwing in (Forge, online co-op, 4 player co-op, insane multiplayer customisation, customisable armour), it's easy to see that this game is going to be awesome.

I actually respect that a lot. I know of a lot of game companies that would simply release the game without having made those changes - like the ones described on Valhalla and Jungle - and then figured "screw it" when no-one played the maps and simply let what had the potential to be a great map become ignored.

I think the article's a bit misleading; I recall reading that Halo 2's ending was actually very intentional. It's rather like the film Casino Royale when Daniel Craig visits Mr. White and the film ends with "Bond ... James Bond". The main storyline is over, but there's a little bit added to the end to whet your appetite.

Did anyone else read about the guys that got their hands on the Halo 3 Epsilon? The were able to download it by doing the account recovery glitch with someone who was legitimately in the Epsilon. Regardless, they got to play for a day or so before their Live accounts and 360s were banned until 9999 AD. Owned.

Nathan Fillion is in Halo 3 as the voice of a marine (you can hear him at about 0:35 into the GC07 Singleplayer Campaign 1 video).

Anybody who knows who Nathan Fillion is knows this is reason enough to buy Halo 3. That is all
