all 4u kids do 3u, so i'll post here.

all 4u people take a go at the 2014 Sydney boys 3u paper. its a toughie if put on the difficulty scale for 3u.

but the teacher who set this was very devious - significantly reduced how many marks each question was out of to put in more questions.

it made the test such an ass, because a 2 mark question sometimes needed 2 pages of working, and it annoys the hell out of me.

you can't just reduce mark allocation to fit in more questions... there has to be a point where it stops.

otherwise, a great challenging paper

that was the question with the worst mark allocation.

if you think that, then you need to back it up with a 98+ 3u external mark. because on the scale of 3u trial exams, 3u sbhs 2014 was quite a bit on the hard side.

Here you go; it doesn't take long once you see the trick for the circle geo tho. Took me about 7 or so minutes of staring but then I don't really have much mathematical intuition.
