Hi,
I think I will be studying a bachelor of arts/ law or bachelor of psychology (hons)/ law at mac uni next year (though I'm still deciding between the two) and was wondering how flexible mac uni timetabling is and if you can choose to have all your subjects say on the first three days of the week or something.
I just wanted to know because I got a part time job that requires to keep my Thursday afternoon free from 4 pm onwards and I need to know if it will be possible to alter my timetable to fit this commitment. Also, how early and late can classes go for?
Thanks

sup I just finalized my timetable for law/intl studies and the timetabling was pretty flexible. I was able to fit all my classes into three days. I do have 1+hours wait in between some classes though but's thats okay

yea you can fit it all into 3 days. And if you can't, you don't have to attend the lectures and just watch it online instead.

It shouldn't be an issue.
Most units will run tutorials/practicals on several days because of the large amount of students. Lectures may run once or twice per week depending again on size, but most aren't compulsory and are recorded so you'll have flexibility there.

I've been doing a mix of part time and full time study, and I've always been able to fit all my classes into 2 days with breaks during the day. (Not always long breaks, but they exist).

I've had classes start as early as 8am and finish as late as 9pm. Generally those very early and very late classes were lectures, and there was an alternative lecture during the week (which I couldn't attend). The more people in the subjects, the more options you will have. Law and Psychology both have a large presence at Macquarie, so it shouldn't be an issue.
