i think that its more important for society and people to accept it and treat it with no indifference, then the government will follow, i dont blame the government they are simply siding with what they think the 'majority' of society thinks is right or wrong, and who knows for sure what the majority of society actually thinks about it, im sure it is very different for some demographics of people than for others, and strongly think that the views over time are changing etc and 50 years down the track things will be diferent, you cant expect instant change.



yes and the people that have commited adulterary have also seen this, and so have any person in the prison or jail system, and so have all those people who have ever told a lie to any one, ever bitched about someone else, or not been kind to someone, they are all doing something agianst the bible. meaning that really to focus your life around a extremly old and out of date book is considered by many to be not an important thing to follow.

Your version is very much digressed, the Bible is very much not outdated, if you actually look properly, you can see they apply to modern situations, just because society has changed so much with its amount of freedom, doesn't make it any more right. I wasn't even asking about adultery or lying - homosexuality was what I was talking about and I was wondering if you'd seen the particular condemning verses.

Scientists can't play God to peoples' feelings - just because they find some gene common in homosexuals, that doesn't mean they have to turn out like that. If you apply that, if they found it in a fetus and when the baby was born, it would have pressure to appear a homosexual

But there is genes that is the cause (or at least VERY strongly dispositions one towards) of homosexuality in some people.

As in people always claim that the Bible is outdated and too conservative and has too many boundaries. These people have probably either never really looked at the Bible or looked at all the old versions. With some people you don't even need to get a new version Bible to understand how their message relates to today's problems.
With people like them, give them a new version Bible with simpler texts that gives a more simple understanding and you'll see how God's word applies to today's situations
