How many contact hours for a combined Law course [approx] (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm planning on doing a Bachelor of Commerce/Law at UNSW and was wondering what kind of full time contact hours I should be expecting? Forgot to ask today at the law lecture, but was told during the business lecture that for commerce its only 3 hours per week.

My friend does com/law at UNSW and he only goes uni three days a week.
I don't know how many hours though.

com/law is 14 hours for me 1st year 1st semester.

but my friend is planning to major in actuarial so he has 17 contact hours for 1st year 1st semester. All other majors in com will be 14 hours

as for later on no idea

did you pick the core? acct and the two econ ones?

or did you also pick one from your major?

14 hr is the correct answer for unsw.

3 commerce subject with 3 hr contact hour each = 9 hrs

For law you will be doing foundation of law PLUS legal research = 4+1 hr = 5 hrs

14 hr total.

um i ddint pick any from my major


if u r doign any other major than actuarial, then u will be enrolling in ACCT151, ECON1101 and ECON1203 and for law, LAWS1052. If you are doing actuarial u do not do ECON1203 but instead do two maths courses.
