how many units am i doing all up:
-English advanced
-4U maths
-PDHPE
-Physics
-Chemistry

also i did 2U and 3U maths last year.
does this mean i have 11 units or 12?
im thinking 12 but ive heard some confusing stuff about 4U maths..

You are doing 12 units in TOTAL. However, you are doing 9 units in your HSC year as you are only taking 1 unit of Mathematics (I assume that you are not repeating any of 2 unit or 3 unit maths).

12 units there, as for 4 unit maths - 2 units count as extension 1 and 2 units count as extension 2 - so you get a mark out of 100 for each; this means 2-unit maths (mathematics) does not count in your HSC/UAI.

13, I think. Keeping all my subjects at this stage (see sig) and adding Ext. 2 English. If you replace Ext. 1 with Ext. 2, it'll be 12... but as I have no idea what is up with Ext. 1/Ext. 2 stuff, I'll see what I have to do.

I intend to pick up Cosmology (Distinction course) and drop both Biology and Chemistry. What I just said is quite likely to happen but my plan may alter depending on how I perform.

If come top 2 in Chemistry, I will consider continuing it.
If I come top in Biology, I will consider continuing it.

If I don't, I will just drop one of them or both. It wouldn't matter. Same scenario is expected with Business Studies. However, I doubt I will perform badly in that subject.

oh yer, do you want to take 3 years for your HSC - in that you could continue with extension 1 - then in the 3rd year do extension 2 maybe
