You don't need to eat less.
Diet is and excersise is IMPORTANT
you can excersise and eat uncarefully and be a fat pig.

Carbs in the morning, more protein at night.. balance it out.

and with the 500 sit ups to 25. Apparently YES its true.
Most people with ripped abs don't just do 500. its matters more on how intense it is
and having proper form.

People that I know with great/fit bods eat every 3/2 hours.

Drink plenty of water, your body often mistakes thirst for hunger.
Drink a cup of water before eating.

starving urself doesnt work for reasons already stated in this thread, your body goes into survival mode, burns up all the fat and then the next time you eat it stores all food straight into fat so u get no energy and pure fat only + it damages your vital organs to starve yourself

Just to correct this, eating protein doesn't make you feel fuller for longer, its dietary fibre which makes you feel fuller for long, which is actually contained in complex carbohydrates such as wholegrain breads, pasta and fruit and vege will do this.

eat more fruits and vege's, try not to eat too much red meat, eat lean meat, eat less fatty foods, exercise regularly.

cut down on sugary stuff, drink water, and CARDIO x 100! (yes, one hundred factorial).

no such thing as spot reducing fat, only reducing ALL bodyfat.

As everyone said you can't spot reduce

Instead of walking and running, skip (burns far more calories)

If you want to be pedantic about it to lose a kg of fat per 2 weeks you need to burn 500 calories more then what you take in per day so if you take in 2000 calories, then you need to burn off 2500 calories. You need to work out your BMR, (calculates the number of calories you burn if you just sat around all day), and then use an exercise or activity calculator to see what you need to do to make up the extra few hundred calories. It's not exact but you get a fair idea.

*Most important thing about diet: Drink a tonne of water and eat a good breakfast, it'll get your metabolism going

oranges, water, lettuce. they're your metabolisms best friend. don't eat anything after you eat dinner.. unless if its fruit. just make sure you dont eat anything around 2-3 hrs before you sleep. when you feel like you have an empty stomach, go for crunches lunges squats, push ups etc. then go to sleep. :)

there is no such thing as spot reduction but you can flatten and tone up this area without building muscle, an easy exercise is if you lie on the floor with your feet together and raise your legs without bending them or widening your stance... to my knowledge this is good for your abdominal muscles if you like spicy food thats another thing that helps getting your metabolism going
