Yes you can buy study guides and textbooks, but there is no point. A tip for Year 11 and 12, get a tutor.

right now what i'm trying to do is get into the habit of studying.
studying is becoming more of a second-nature to me now.. not so much a "chore" anymore.
i regret a lot, i fucked up all my other years.
so, if you get into the habit of studying now.. it will be easier in year 12.
year 11 is the year where youre supposed to "work out your study methods" but i'm getting into the habit of studying.. so its all good.

just read through your textbooks.. take all the info into your brain.. then make summaries.. and notes.
after that, do questions in the textbook. they're there for a reason :]
thats my process for studying.

then when you have you summaries/notes done.. read them over and over again..
and make questions up that you think would be in the exam.

yeagh me too halo3 and graw online really did it in for me when it came to math.but althe other subjects im cool with.

anyway just make notes after school on what was taught that day and when exam time comes around look at youre notes.(ps im going to have a workbook and a notebook)next year so my math notes wil actually be legible next year.

also buy study guides i bought like 5 books to study for the sc and i wished i bought them at the start of the year so i wouldnt have to clock it right before the sc starts.

another tip:this site will be thy saviour next year as the support is tremendous-better that actually going to class i reckon when it come to retention/study tips.

anyay the things i learnt studying for the school certificate during this holiday and from the community(b.o.s) is to:

practice,practice,prctice,practice math to get better

make, organise and revise notes consistently not 2 days before an exam

pay attention in class and work ahead whenever possible.

be consistent,revise and learn everyday.

iv being doing this for years now but my personnal tips would be:

excersice-moderation in all things, afterall is key to happiness

read-as much as you can

play up to youre strenghts but cover youre weaknesses.(my archiles tendon is maths)

finally relax and appreciate life and be confident in youre self and youre abilities.because frankly in my opinion the next 2 years will be the hardest in my life.

Really no point deviating from your current strategies (considering your present techniques are effective).
I am just approaching the next year just as any other.
