did my maths ext 1 assessment today, it was not as bad i thought it would be, horay!

oOO got my bio marks assessment back today! 28/32, the best mark i got in ages lol.
(its not the best but shh let me have my moment.)

2 assessments down, 3 to go *sigh.

Today was the last day of school. Finished watching a movie in ext. english. My music teacher forgot we had a class and held a meeting with some teachers, so we bludged. In chem we bludged again, sitting around complaining about how tired we are. hehehe.

but why IS it that you guys have so short terms?

Truthfully, I don't really know why we break up so early. However, I believe that it does have something to do with the fact that most private schools host boarders from the country and even international students. For the most part, these students are away from their families for whole terms and therefore a longer holiday period would be required to allow them to spend time with their families. Also, from general trends, private schools tend to finish a bit later, around 4-4:30ish.

ooO thanks for clearing that up Chocolat. about finishing later, i'll have to check on that, i'd always thought my private school friends finish around the same time as public schools.

I have a math assessment tomorrow, which I have prepared for and today I got 2 merit certificates for Legal Studies, yay!

The year 10s had their graduation assembly today from the "junior school"

OMG... It took ages to hand out all their results. All the way through it I was wondering how many of them are there.

Plus it was hot and stuffing inside the gym...
