Finally finished all my exams !

Maths was one hell of a long test. There were a few questions I skipped and didn't have time to get back too. I don't think anybody would have had time to answer all the questions so it was alright. Not such a hard test IMO.

Physics today was a bitch. I didn't like the amound of writing we had to do. And I hate that I answered wrongly to such an easy question. AH ! ><".

But yeah, HELL YEAH ! I'm done.

What kind of questions did you get?

I remember three out of the 10 SA.

"Outline Criminal and Civil law, what are the differences? State an example of each." 6 marks, anyone that can't do that is a spas.

"Explain the two forms of precedent" 4 marks <-- Fucking love that question, so easy

"Describe the differences between bilateral and multilateral treaties" 2 marks, i had no idea but then i realised how obvious it was and was a-okay.
They're pretty good questions. The precedent question, i agree, is awesome.

A few that we had include:

"The police and courts need to exert power to manitain order. At the same time, individuals must maintain some freedom" Discuss this statement (6 m)

er "How are duties and rights related?" (2 m) Easy

"Assess the role of the courts in challenging the state" (6m) not too bad.

It was a pretty good exam. How was the essay for you?

I take it you guys did a different option to us, because I don't remember discussing duties and rights etc. We did ATSI and Migrants.

My essays were good mark wise, but I felt my second one was really dodgy... I think my legal teacher is an easy marker, no one got below 50% in the essays.

My essay questions were along the lines of these:

1) Outline precedent, how can judges avoid using precedent? What are some good examples of precedent being created? - This one was really easy as I read my half yearly essay on the way to school, which was about precedent too. I just elaborated on Donoghue vs. Stevenson and Grant vs AKM as damages cases.

2) Something about Native title and ATSI rights.... can't really remember the question, we didn't get our exams back to keep as someone hasn't been able to do it yet due to holidays.

this is cal btw.

Exam results:

Maths: 5th
Going to a selective school which is "reknown" for its maths ability means that the test was so bloody hard. I left out around 10 marks. T_T

Modern history: 1st
Pleased with this one, though there's a hella lot of work to do to get better next time. My final mark for the year's 96/100.

Chem & Bio: top ten, though I don't really care too much, especially not bio since I'm dropping that. Chem, slightly disappointed, but there's room for improvement.

I'm a humanities/social science/English person. I shouldn't have chosen biology. -.-

Hm for me, I don't seem to do a 2u test. Although it's probably 'cos the 3u'ers in my school don't actually have a 2u class to go to but just get taught the content in one so called "3 unit class". It kinda sucks not being able to see where I stand with 2u though.
