Oh no... just received assessment notifications today:
Mathematics Extension 1: March 14th
Mathematics Extension 2: March 15th
Two math tests in two consecutive days, and there are like 6 topics to study (5 actually): Parabola, Polynomial, Integration, Inverse Functions & Inverse Trigonometric Functions for Ext. 1; Conics and Polynomials for Ext. 2.

Which one do you think I should put more focus on?
both. no matter how little a assignment may weight, a few marks can make the difference from you getting the rank your aiming to achieve.

Both worth 20%, and there are only 5 guys in my Extension 2 class - being a small school...

If I look at my first assessment, I think I should spend some more times in 3u exam, but I heard conics questions would be so brain-absorbing if you don't understand conics properly...

Anyway, these were my first assessments marks:
Mathematics Extension 1: 30/38 (3rd) - there is one impossible question because we haven't been taught yet...
Mathematics Extension 2: 32.5/35 (2nd) - should get 34.5/35 if I got some marks for that question...

Well, that was an easy test. Only got wrong because I forget to sketch one graph involving complex number and another one that I should got it right is about graph. I drew too many lines and my teacher couldn't understand what graph I was drawing.:mad1:

That's good.

Received my Physics assessment back today 27/27 - 10%/10%:p

Most people who are good at Maths, don't like English.

far out u people are smart. i just had my first 4 unit maths assessment today. very depressing. skipped heaps of questions and didnt have time to check it either. 11 questions in 70 mins is way too much.

Not everyone is smart.
11 questions in 70 minutes is too long? It depends on how long each question is.
I'm sure you're still angry at your poor performance but was it because it was too hard or too long?

....
Don't be so depressed because you're performing worse than others. Here are three reasons not be so angry.
1. You've only done one assessment (or two) and you've got more.
2. Of those who seemed to go well migh go to very bad schools.
3. There are probably dozens and dozens who have done so poorly that they are too embarassed to post their results.

If you failed, keep studying but harder.
