Who here would honestly do this/have done this to someone?

Coming from a girl, this question was originally aimed at the opposite gender but on second thought, I can imagine plenty of girls who are capable of pulling this off..

Who here have been played like this?

i think only attractive girls or alpha males can do this sort of thing.

Haha. Yeah. Well, since I started it, I might lead with an example. Actually, this has happened more than once. Each time has been like so...

Him: I like you
Me: *think something up...!!!* uhm alright.. *still thinking next line!*
Him: Joking!
Me: *WTF, made me think for no reason!!!* uhm, alright?!

Like what the hell? Are some people just so bored that they do these things to get someone's reaction or attention or something? And I have never had someone I was interested in do that to me but imagine...

And cmon, it cannot be just me.

Yeah. It's probably a lot worse if you only find out after a while it was a joke...

No it's not just you. I know someone who does it too. Happens more commonly when alcohol is around. It's not fair to the person that recieves it I can tell you that much. And when the recipient actually likes the person its so much worse.

I've had it done to me, but, like decypher, not since primary school.

Ha. Well, the first incident was in year seven first term ~_~

So I asked the guy that did that to me about why.. what why, just then. And apprently, he had a crush on me but my reaction was so slow (and apparently looked like I was about to cry - I swear that was my neutral look) he decided to save himself from being brutually rejected.

fucking idiot.

I did it as a joke in like primary school. But if you were doing it after year 8, then that's just sad.
I have, however, said I was joking despite the fact I was serious, just to try and save face. Mostly this is done when I don't quite get the reaction I was after, or the morning after confessing my unrequitted love in the form of a drunken text message. You'd be surprised how many female friends I've lost because of this. lol

it's very primary school/year 7 prank calling
but i used to do it with one of my best male friends.. it was
alot more elaborate than just 'i like you... NOT' haha...
we'd try and make each other believe it.
we were into the huge mindgaming thing, was really quite
fun, (in a twisted kind of way)

until he assaulted me wiht his huge greek.. nose as he tried
to hook up with me and professed his geniune feelings... (i turned in the
nick of time and all he got was a mouth full of my hair)

hahah was shit cause at the end of his rant i was like..
'wow, ___ that was very convincing. hi 5 i gotta step up my game'
and then he said it wasnt a game and went for the kill.

hahha he maintains it's true to this day,
but maybe it's just a long running mindgame ^^
hahhaha
or maybe you're just a bitch that shouldnt lead people on

you realise games like that = obvious flirting? of course hes going to start liking you for reals after that

lol yea it is funny too i guess.

No not happened to me, Pace_T, i just got an outright upfront "ew i dont wanna dance with you! yuck!" during year 5/6 dance where partner swaps occur.
It sucked being a non-white living in a completely white suburb, then i stayed indoors and it never happened again, problem solved.

Although it is a bit awkward when someone says im handsome, i automatically think its some bad joke, and their like "DUDE learn to take a compliment!!!", im like 'ok fine watever'
