The Bible isn't necessarily true, no matter how many copies there are. How many copies of Shakespeare's works are there? Do you know? Originals from the very first writings of it. This says nothing about the truth value.

Shakespeare's works were performed 1500 years after the birth of Jesus. You're making no point here.

I hate to break it to you, but you cannot use the Bible to prove the existence of God.

1. The Bible shows God is true.
2. How do we know the bible is true?
3. The Bible was inspired by/word of God.

Circular reasoning at its most obvious. Premise 3 requires the truth of the attempted conclusion. If you still don't get it, I will make it clearer in detail:

You cannot use the Bible to prove that God exists. It is circular reasoning. Next proof/reason please.

There are also many other texts that show the resurrection of Jesus, after he had been executed by the Romans, who were the best executioners throughout all of history. The New Testament, by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, gives first hand evidence of the life of Jesus.

This 'circular reasoning' which you seem to love so much doesn't disporve anything.

You have still however failed to provide any evidence for the non-existence of God.

being an atheist myself. i believe that jesus did exist, however he was some guy who was smart enough to expoit peoples gullible nature, and use this to make himself appear holly and receive alot of attention from it. Him being the first person to claim he is son of god or what ever, made him known by all ( even the majority of who strongly apposed). This claim was the most contraversial and radical claim that was made in that time of history and similar to a snowball rolling down a hill, this claim grew and spread over time to become a strong part of religion that exists in the current century.
