Obviously, Alans joke failed, as he WAS being sarcastic.

Alan doesnt have the guts to try new things. He seems to be someone that sticks to what he knows, as there has rarely been the time where Alan's risks have paid off. He thinks he has a very standard taste in food.
Lynn apologises for not noticing sarcasm, as she was having another temporary fit at incredibly dogey sewing on skirt which she is STILL altering and likely will be up till 2am finishing. Lynn thinks that she had better be paid well for this trauma. Lynn would muchly prefer to begin work on friend's formal dress rather than toil on uneven seams.

Marcus thinks dolmades are great and really likes the meat dishes. Greeks also have alot of fish in their diet. Including the hundreds of little whiting fish, which are so small that they can be battered and fried whole. Culinary tastes have changed since Sparta, and Greek food is generally very nice. Its actually something hearty, which you can enjoy and which fills you up. Its not fussy French stuff. :p
Lynn loves wholesome food like fish.

Lynn admits that she does like french food every now and again on rare occasions but agrees that it is just too creamy and too fatty and ugh. On a trip to New Caledonia (back in Yr 9 when Lynn was still studying french under amazing french teachers before they got bribed into teaching for private schools - GRR!) for an entire week Lynn had to live on le pain and yogurt, with some fruit... some croissants... dinners were a lot better, but there was so much bread and cream and cheese, Lynn wanted to DIE... not enough plain meat!!!

Lynn wonders "which of us haven't answered what question?"

Lynn is a little confused, and will also BRB whilst she runs up a seam.

Alan also wonders. He wonders all the time.

He will not Brb, but instead will be here.

Alan twiddles his thumbs.

Alan must, unfortunantly, bid all goodnight.

He will speak to all later, and recall (if possible) Alan's formal night. Although, he suspects it will not be such an eventful evening.

Sleep tight everyone, Alan says.

Lynn is back! Lynn apologies for long time away but she had to unpick YET AGAIN. *sigh* However, Lynn has finished one of the three main seams left. Yay!

Since everyone already knows Marcus' lineage, Marcus would like to ask what ethnicity Lynn and Alan would think Marcus was if he hadn't told them, and if they just looked at the photo's.

Lynn doesn't have to answer tonight if she is too tired. Marcus might go to bed soon as well.

Hmm. From the first photo Lynn saw, Lynn would have said definately caucasian, with some British/Irish blood - bright blue eyes and pale skin.

However in second photo, Lynn would have said Greek/Lebanon etc.

Marcus has quite striking features.

Lynn will go to bed soon as well, as she is ALMOST done with skirt...

LOL. Not much. At this time of night, Lynn is either on a major high, or semi-sleepy with cotton wool instead of brain. Tonight is the latter *yawn*. Lynn does not like late-night sewing but it appears that as she gets older "and wiser", she ends up doing more and more of it.

Marcus thinks that Lynn's assesment is pretty good. Marcus' eyes are more of a grey-blue than a bright blue though. And his nose certainly gives him away in the second photo. Marcus thanks Lynn for her compliment too! :)

Some people have said that Marcus has looked:

a) Spanish
b) Italian
c) English

It is true that half-breeds can have quite interesting features.

Sewing is just about done - Lynn is just tidying up loose threads now. YAY...

Lynn has not done a skirt as finnicky and temperamental as this in a long, long time.

Marcus congratulates Lynn for having completed the dress this evening. Marcus thinks how many times Lynn would have had to thread the needle and gets a headache.
