Alan is curious to know how Justin's interview went, whether Lynn has complete her sewing for this millenium, how Marcus' fares, whether Susan will be stumbing into Important - Please Read again, if Thomas is enjoying his holidays, and how often Amber has been able to remain sober!

Alan eagarly awaits responses!

Kisses to all!

ALAN ALAN ALAN ALAN!!!!!

SUSAN AND LYNN MET EACH OTHER YESTERDAY!!!!

Tis a momentous occasion for Important - Please Read, one which justifies my copious use of capital letters. Susan is also most touched that Alan mentioned Susan when thinking about Important - Please Read :)

Susan informs Alan and Justin is not due to the fact that the love is no longer being shared, but should be attributed more to the fact that Lynn and Susan are both at Schools Spectacular this weekend, and have been since Thursday in rehearsal.

It will be aired on the ABC on the 12th of December at 7:30 and the behind the scenes documentary on the 8th of December, same channel, same time :)

Susan took a photo with Lynn yesterday and will post it when she gets it off her friends digital camera.

Susan hopes the boys are all doing well. She doesn't have much time to browse the thread at the moment but will do soon.

*hugs!!*

Susan, before she goes, just collated the rankings of the members of Important - Please Read.

From a quick scan, it looks like Marcus has probably done the the best, but Justin has considerably larger candiatures. As a sample group of people, Susan feels it would be very interesting to collate the ranks, schools, marks and eventual UAI's of everyone to see how it works.... that is, if everyone is ok with that of course.

anyways, here are the rankings. Hopefully Lynn will give us heres too, but she doesn't have to if she doesn't want to. :)

Alan is jealous, and is sure all the boys are also!
Alan reckons we ought to all stumble into each other one day. Wouldnt that be fun!

Alan knew about schools spectacular, but has no idea what it is. He promises to be watching and trying to spot out Lynn and Susan

Alan hopes Lynn and Susan will continue to have fun. (psst! and remember to take photos of cute boys for Alan!)

Justin thinks that his interview went quite well, and will be called back next week. If not, he will be doing the calling.

Justin is glad for Lynn and Susan and hopes that the Important - Please Read crew can meet up some time. Surely with uni next year, this will be possible.

Lynn wonders whether friends wish to meet up sometime in the... rather long post-HSC/Christmas/Pre-Uni holidays in Hyde Park or something. Lynn only mentions Hyde Park because a)her incredible lack of direction/geography is actually able to find the fountain in Hyde Park and b)... Lynn assumes that if SHE can find Hyde Park fountain, everyone else can too :D Lynn is very much looking forward to meeting Susan again, now that she knows who to look for. Lynn is also quite pleased to announce, in Susan's words, that we "are not sixty-three year old bearded men". Lynn and Susan look quite a lot like the photos in their profiles. She would have said "avatars", but alas, Susan does not quite look like some sort of car outlined in neon lighting.

After finding out today that Lynn really only needs to go check the Students Online site to get her rankings, Lynn will post them up. Lynn apologises for the delay, but it was not because she did not want to post them up - she just had no idea where to find them!!! lol.

YUCKY Lynn does not like her ranks. (she has just seen her ranks online and they are somewhat worse than ranks released on Yearly Report) But for the purpose of posting them up, she will - "Goodbye Uni!" she cries melodramatically.

Course Name Units Rank Order
15020 Ancient History: 19 / 31 ------------> Yay not last, happy.
15140 English (Advanced): 70 / 118 -----> Not over the moon, but can deal with it.
15160 English Extension 1: 19 / 72 ------> Admittedly expected better.
15170 English Extension 2: 14 / 34 ------> Admittedly wanted better.
15230 General Mathematics: 11 / 17 ----> Lynn will hide this ranking from her maths tutor...
15390 Textiles and Design: 8 / 8 ---------> Screw you textiles, that's all Lynn can say.

Lynn is somewhat suprised at amount of EE2 students as she is quite sure that HGHS started out with three classes of about 20 girls each. Lynn assumes that many dropped it :( Lynn is also REALLY hoping that her selective school nerd-i-ness english scaling pulls her marks up. She needs it, and needs it badly. Lynn will now go hide under a rock for a little while - AFTER she finishes her "Apple Juice with Vitamins C & E and Folate". Lynn thinks that it is really all some sort of joke, but Lynn is thirsting for sugar, so all she can really say is "Come hither".

To give some relevancy to her thread, Lynn wonders if anyone here is familiar with the Speech medium as she has a friend in dire need of some guidance. Friend in question (Susan may know him) is looking at racism and racial injustice in modern society - does anyone here know of/how to access speeches on this topic?

Lynn will meander - no, limp - around the BOS site now to catch up on everything she's missed so far. She hopes boys have been having fun in her and Susan's absence!

PS: Lynn still has to hand-sew on a zip, finish a seam, do the hems and press a formal dress, and THEN she has finished her sewing for the year. :)

Lynn also wonders how Justin is feeling today after having his puppies going to new homes - if it makes him feel better, Lynn is pretty sure he's having more sleep and less to clean up after :D

Justin was there when the first puppy left and he was almost crying, but he had to go out and so when he got home only his pup, Zak, was left. He feels better, as Zak now feels like his own dog and there is a lot less stress involved.

Justin thinks an Important - Please Read meetup is certainly in order some time in the future. He thinks that this issue should be thought upon.

Alan STRESSES that he has the puppyish attributes that Justin requires!!!
Alan:
- whines alot, over nothing sometimes, (like puppies).
- in the morning, will refuse to open his eyes, and lay in bed for longer (like puppies).
- doesnt clean up after himself (like puppies)
- does his business, anywhere he likes, and is willing to say that Justin's bedroom is no exception!

heeheehee... Lynn is amused...

Although Lynn does point out, regretfully, that Alan is lacking one very important puppy attribute - the ability to be picked up, cuddled and carried everywhere. This is the one thing Lynn misses about puppies, as her dogs are far too big and heavy to be anything but hugged. She very much wants a small dog that would sit in her lap and curl up next to her pillow, but unfortunately small dogs yap and when Lynn's dogs sleep next to her, they tend to sleep/step/fall/kick all over her as well. It is not very comfortable, although it does keep her snuggly warm.

Lynn is glad that Justin was able to be absent whilst his puppies were given away as Lynn cannot even fathom how heartbreaking that would be. She is also very happy that Justin was able to keep Zak, and wonders whether Zak looks at Justin adoringly whilst wagging his tail.

Justin laughs, as Zak looks at everything and wags his tail. Justin thinks he loves the attention and the freedom to explore. :)

Justin has provided photos of the pups. He loves them so much, even though they are gone.

Lynn thinks that puppies are adorable... but how does Justin tell them apart?!?!?!?!
Alan will assume dog-style butt-sniffing. You cant possible spend so much time with pups without picking up a few things. Isnt that right?

Justin knows the pups by the individual features. Tana and Ruby have light noses, and Ruby has a bit of white on her chest. Azumi, Asha and Zak have darker noses, and Azumi is the smallest one, Asha is the big, dark one and Zak is the boy. :)

There are more factors like what the ridges look like, their personalities, etc, but that's generally how Justin tell's them apart. He usually doesn't have to look too hard to work it out either. :D

Justin doesn't sniff peoples' butts, but he does growl at Zak when he does something bad. :p

Oooh! Lynn growls at her dogs too! Lynn also has to have staring contests with Shadow sometimes to establish dominance... :(

Lynn is glad Justin is able to tell puppies apart, and she kicks herself for not remembering earlier that of course, the puppies will differ in small ways.

If Lynn's memory serves her correctly, Alan is quite a bit taller than Lynn. How is she going to be able to hold Alan with one hand and hold a phone with the other? :p

Lynn also wishes to say that Justin's puppies have lovely names.

Justin states that growling and staring a dog down are both legitimate methods of training. :)

Lynn agrees, although there is always a small part of her mind that just wants to look down. Shadow and Rodesian Ridgebacks are quite large dogs, and could quite easily tear Lynn apart if they wanted to. Lynn is quite happy that she has been taking care of Shadow since puppyhood.

Lynn greets Katie!

Lynn will be off sewing for a bit now, but as it is only hemming (YAY! LAST BIT!) she will be back by this evening.
