Yes having a link needs to be reliable, but how can a commercial site be considered reliable, it wouldnt fly in uni

You still haven't posted the link that you're basing your claim on. Unless the link is a .gov or a .edu site, yours is a commercial site also and just as unreliable. There's no point discussing the relative reliability of my site if yours isn't up for scrutiny also.

And while snopes is a .com, they don't make money-

Reliability of sites aside, you still haven't offered any rebuttal for the logical flaw in the G.O.L.F theory- the Scottish/English problem.

Depends on what information is gathered off the commercial site. Obviously if you are looking at specifications for say a Boeing 717, Boeing.com can be considered reliable quite easily.

or did you just change your nick and i cant find it anymore? *shrug* The teaching so far (i.e. two tutorials, one which was an introduction) was OK, my tute group is OK but kange's is full of idealists, i hear.....sep. At least they'll be interesting when Kirby/Ruddock come in to talk ..............i'll take pics.

USYD is also packed with a variety of "this outlet would not be here without USU" and "I love USU" signs. I'm tempted to enquire why they couldn't just charge more to offset the union contributions but I'm afraid USU might actually stand for university of sydney union upon questioning. >_>
