traditionally guys would ask the girls out, but at a modern day and age i guess girls could ask guys out too. depends on the people though, i myself find it hard to ask someone out and if a girl asked me out i wouldn be offended or such.

It really doesn't matter anymore.

It's stupid to think that if you liked someone you wouldn't ask them out just because of some old tradition. If you want to go out with someone and you believe they might reciprocate your feelings then go for it.

I would prefer that I am the one to ask a girl out. It just feels awkward for me if a someone asks me out (especially if the person is not that I really like).

i think guys should ask first =/ if he likes you he'll ask you - so chillax. (ok not very easy to chillax when you have a massive crush on the guy - but then again, if hes not into you he wont ask you out. nor will he appreciate you asking him out and putting him in a tight spot)
