plz help me!!
It does not matter if you haven't ever been at the top of the class in mathematics. Neither had I but I still did 3unit maths and it certainly paid off. Just ensure you work hard. And please do not do general maths if you are capable of doing adv maths... General maths scales terribly.

I was lousy at Math till I got myself a tutor. Didn't pass 1 Math test until Semester 2/yr 9 - 4yrs later - completed & passed (although not w/flying colours) yr12 math (further math ---> Gen math NSW).

My conclusion: If I can do it - anyone can. ;)

For 2U maths I'm first using the excel textbook to get all the major ideas written up in note form, and then working my way through the cambridge textbook. It's a very good way of making sure you know everything in the topic, and the excel book _is_ good for cramming :)

Cramming, however, is shitty for maths-esque subjects. You've got to get some past papers going and practice doing the problems. You've got to be able to apply the theory you already know.

craming is always better than not studying at all... i wonder why so many people hate excel??? in my mind excel is a good read as it gives you the basics straight off without talking about a bunch weird irrelevant stuff like cambridge does, so you can start to do some practice exam questions as soon as possible.

uh, excel is good for revision. But why not work through a proper TEXTBOOK and make your own summary, with examples of harder questions?

Man, am I ever glad I didn't do that. So tedious and boring. Just do the questions.

(Note: My teacher provided us with a varitable forest of notes as reference.)

excel books are not very helpful
for maths, fitzpatrick is good enough..."past papers and questions"(which i am selling now^_^), "success one" are all of high quality too
