No. Whiles it scales better than some other subjects, you still need to do well in it to make a difference.

Even then, a good mark in Mathematics is going to beat a really shit one in MX2.
Although scaling is a factor to consider, don't choose a subject based on scaling alone. It's stupid.
It's better to do good in a subject that you're proficient in than to do poorly in a higher scaling one.
