i just gave my sister a lecture about the school certificate being a waste of time, because she is having a cry over an assignment she is doing and saying its a waste of time and stupid. i told her that yes its stupid and a waste of time but you just have to live through it.
One thing you should carry through school is learning is fun, what is so bad about it, the more you learn the easier life is both socially and occupational.

STFU all of you. The School Certificate is serious business. If you don't get 95+ in everything, you'll fail your HSC. And get an ATAR less than 30.

quick answer yes. with the new laws saying u can't leave till 17, sc basically is the be all and end all of your education
on a real note, don't study for it! i got a low band 5 average for sc because i didn't give a shit and now i'm sitting on a band 6 average for hsc... sc means crap in the scheme of things, just study in yr 12 and you'll be fine
