i wonder if they would really consider u if u get above 95. Many ppl said that they only look at the 99+. is this true?

p.s does anyone know when will we see the list of ppl who get in?

in the application, they state above 95. though they do tend to accept students with a higher atar than that.

i *think* the list is released around the time of offers and enrollment.

ii thought we get to know straight after our atar ><, so i guess i'll have to wait.

Gahh I'm waiting on tenterhooks because I really really really want to go to USYD but unless I get an entry scholarship I'm going to take the $4k that UNSW has very kindly offered me and run for the hills.

Has anybody heard anything from them yet?

It depends on the faculty as well as your personal statement. One of my mates got 99.6 or something and only got an entry scholarship at usyd - so 98 is pushing it imo

Obviously I don't actually know for sure but just from the stuff on the website and the shortlist letter etc I think the personal statement is very significant.

but guy got 100 and didn't get it, so... I'm guessing they place a lot of emphasis on all other criteria. i.e. yay for you.
