And that comment was said lightly in regards to the above, i wasnt acting pretentious. I don't need your respect anyway.

I dont know where it would go! But I read somewhere he's possibly planning some spin off thing as a future project with Vernita Green's daughter grown up. Not too sure about that one though.

i agree, there were more characters in volume 1 who were just more powerful. but i also agree with ND.. you can't really compare the two because they work together.

Vol 1 for sure, more violent.

But Vol 2 wasn't bad.

Fun night, good to see Bill die.

Both are great.
Volume 1 focuses more on actions as volume 2 focuses more on dialogue.
I like how Tarintino cuts the movie up into chapters, it's interesting.

The Pai Mei sense is funny, I laughed so hard at that. (although they can't translate cantonese to english for crap but it doesn't matter to people who can't understand cantonese anyway haha)

Yeah, it depends on what sort of mood you're in.
If you feel like some ultra-violence with no emotion then vol 1.

But in volume 2 the characters are deeper, less action, more dialogue etc... It's more dramatic, eg. the scenes with her daughter.

whaaat? so much more character development in the second one!!! although gogo was very cool, stabbing a random japanese businessman in the chest doesn't make for a well-developed character!

the kill bill vol.3 thing seemed more like what happens when you get newsreporters who are unable to detect sarcasm. if you read his actual comments on the possibility of a third, he is obviously joking

bad example considering pulp fiction could easily be split up into three movies

completely agree. personally, although i liked vol.1, i was ultimately disappointed. the violence was quite stylish, but just not very creative. vol.2 featured the reasons why qt is a great writer/director, his deep, complex characters, and great dialogue

I liked them pretty much equally. Perhaps the first edging out the second, perhaps because I'm a sucker for the visual aspect of a movie rather than the narrative.

I don't think Tarantino was exactly aiming for realism with these movies. So yeah, the entire thing is "bs" if you think about it.
