Looks like a good day for Queensland in general with Rudd and Maroons winning (both for now)

Bad start for Rudd as he falsely claims he is PM (he isn't)

Moving on, I really didn't think that Shorten could be that much of a hack. The honorable thing to have done would be to go down with his ship.
Shorten had no ship to go down with. He poured his heart and soul into the NDIS for six years. Any firm commitment he had to Gillard as leader was extinguished after her government delivered it.

Darkest day in auspol history.

Wow, I never knew Wayne Swan had cancer.
It was only prostate cancer, if you tested every man his age half would have it, and the mortality rate is nothing. Unless you're referring to some other new cancer.

Abbott: "In 2007 you voted for Kevin and got Julia. In 2010 you voted for Julia and got Kevin. Who knows what you'll get next time."

Abbott has the line of the day:
"in 2007 you voted for Kevin and got Julia, in 2010 you voted for Julia and got Kevin, in 2013 who knows who you will get under Labor"

Rudd speech was pretty good actually. Bob Carr done alright as well.

Most improved has to go to Albo though, a true blue Aussie.

I don't know much about that, although cancer is cancer, and any form of it would be reason to be concerned.

Rudd's speech is so far pretty ordinary :-/
Yet another greasy gillard supporter.

I'm not interested in playing parliamentary games.

Moves 83 (iirc) motions to suspend standing orders during QT
