die hard 4.0. it was ok but too much bullshit with the truck going up the ramp and jumping onto the plane and what not. so exaggerated. ppl just dont die in that movie. its like the matrix or some thing

It was as good as the original and Die Hard With A Vengeance. It had the potential to be the best, but there's a few niggling little issues that stopped it (like Timothy Olyphant going all wooden when he only had one or two words to say and the complete and utter lack of swearing).

It was as good as the original and Die Hard With A Vengeance. It had the potential to be the best, but there's a few niggling little issues that stopped it (like Timothy Olyphant going all wooden when he only had one or two words to say and the complete and utter lack of swearing).

I thought the ending was a bit of an anti-climax. I was also expecting a hell of a lot more swearing. John McClane is going soft in his old age (that said, he's still pretty bad ass).

I think what got to me most about Wolf Creek was that I found Mick to be almost likeable.

Yeah, the final shoot-out happened right on the tail of the fighter jet sequence, which kind of dulled it. As for the swearing, it's not a case of McClane getting soft. The original script was loaded with swearing, but Fox executives decided to cut down on the swearing in order to get a PG-13 rating to get a wider target audience. If you watch carefully, you can see a lot of the character mouthing "fuck" or derivative thereof. With luck, there will be an unrated DVD release with the original swearing intact.
