pistols at dawn?
second of all i'd like to say that:those who don't remember history are condemned to repeat it
if there's one thing that beats latin/italian poetry, it's the words of a jay chow song... so sad...how can you reconnect a broken string?
you can no longer hear my feelings,
and your change of heart is a string that has snapped.
no matter how i adjust, the sound becomes flawed,
the notes of your change, i can clearly distinguish...
i am silent, your words are also minimal,
what are we missing between us? let's not say...
aiya... after a meek smile, my expression finally reveals some sadness,
(holding your hand)
i ask for your decision, then i leave...
i laugh suddenly with a relieved mind;
the laughter spirals halfway round the mountains,
borne on the winds, swaying to and fro,
arriving, curls itself around you.
your tears run down in a stream,
saying you will remember our good times,
i also have to force my lips and smile...
to whom have you already given your beauty?
chasing again and again, i can't retrieve it.
now i realise that the leaf, having left the tree,
belongs the world of the ground to wither away...
trying once more to pluck the broken string,
now that you're no longer in my world,
my fingertips have already calloused from the playing,
nevertheless i am unable to keep you by my side.
how can you reconnect a broken string?
you can no longer hear my feelings,
and your change of heart is a string that has snapped.
no matter how i adjust, the sound becomes flawed,
the notes of your change, i can clearly distinguish...
