Anyone feel that they've lost their purpose in life now that hsc is over?

:(

These months until uni are going to be very boring without studying....

You just need to find activities to kill time , hobbies , get a job, go out !

The HSC does that to you, and you have to realign your purpose in life :)

Not really (maybe the feeling will come soon?) I'm just glad I can go about doing hobbies and other things I enjoy without the guilty feeling of "you could be studying right now" in my mind. As suggested, you should pick up some hobbies, or maybe get a job.

Like everyone's said so far - you're done. Congrats and embrace the freedom you're given. You've worked hard and you deserve this, and I'm sure going out with friends, organising schoolies, or finding a job will help you fill up the next few months :)

I know what you mean, after going out with my mates once final exam was over I came home and had nothing to do. Tbh I kinda felt like studying just cus thats mostly all ive been doing for the last month. I decided to start a diet and buy gym membership today, Im also printing out resumes to get a job, started a couple new TV shows (prison break, lost) and thinking whether to play XBL or LOL (suggestions? - I've never played LOL). Just gatta find something to keep yourself busy over the next several months before uni starts and your life will soon be filled again

What did you do after hsc and before uni?

Wow. Someone's actually upset the HSC is over??

How do you not have something else to do - work? Hobby? Sport? Party? Anything..? I don't think I could get through the HSC without having something I like doing / having something to look forward to.
You'll realise how lost you are when you graduate :(
Studying has been something I did all day everyday for like 2 years now. Now I'm told not to study and instead do anything. :(

I would like to work but I'd rather not work at maccas standing there 8 hours a day serving customers for a few dollars. (I don't have a particular need for money either)

Is there a particular subject you liked/were interested in?

Could learn more about it?

Just cause you got a three month break doesn't mean you can't study

Due to unprecedented boredom I decided to set myself some small goals throughout the 3 month break to keep me occupied when I'm not out.
- Read a book every 2 weeks (currently on The Fifth Mountain by Paulo Coelho).
- Write some short stories to add to my collection.
- Find work (lol fail)
- Study world history. Something I was passionate about before HSC got in the way.

Maybe you could try something similar to these?
