man i never saw so many dense people. The show is a fucking hit in the US wining it stimeslot and getting 18million a week. Its a huge show that WILL get more seasons, no producer or production house spends 11 million on a 2 hour pilot to only make 26 episodes and just fold. The show will be on air until viewers fall out. I'd expect about 5-8 seasons.

5 to 8 seasons is a LONG time. Im expecting more 3 to 5. The problem is alot of people start to get pissed off from questions not being answered. E.g. How many people were bitching about the season 1 finale because we didnt really get told anything much.

But 5 - 8 might be possible as long as the quality stays at the same level.

am i the only one who gets the distinct feeling the writers of Lost are just making shit up as they go.

wel dramas are mad et go for a long time and rarely end the series because of story, more to do with low ratings. I say if charmed can go for 8 yrs then Lost can atleast go for that long as well. There are endless possibilities.
