Can someone please but my conscience at ease, i spent 10 mins on that volume question and am properly about to neck myself
Simplification is not required / mandatory outside of "show" questions. Both one over root 2 and root 2 over 2 would be accepted, for example. I am confident that both + ln(1/3) and - ln3 would be accepted. Not changing 12 / 4 to 3 is careless, and leaving 4 / 12 instead of 1 / 3 isn't good either, but are these really worth a whole mark penalty when the expression is numerically correct? I'd doubt it.

whatttt i did 😭😭 i had curve at 800pi and cylinder at 400pi
Maybe you expanded the as instead of as ? This would get the 800pi but miss the log term...

pretty sure q is either 1944 or 80 (not 81 or 1943) coz u gotta add one/ subtract one by the n-1 identity
no you just take the maximum of the bottom values, you dont add anything to them
