Istg imma crash out if there's a chunky combinatorics question this year.

I can definitely see a trig sub polynomials question tho since haven't seen one in a few years I don't think

they're still good practice, especially when hsc decides to pull some random questions out that other schools dont test
i took a look at girra and penrith, good recommendations. thanks

i think ruse is quite reasonable. nsb a little less, ppl say not to do them because theyre horribly written or smth

guys this might be a silly question, but why are the hsc ext 1 exams out of 70, if we get a mark out of 50?

I’m guessing because ppl doing ext 1 have it as 1 unit while ppl doing ext 2 have it as 2 units, so 70 marks is the rough midpoint between 100 and 50

I think it's due to it being 2hrs long instead of 3hrs. So only 2/3 of 100 rounds to around 70 ish

It gets rescaled based on whether it's worth 1 or 2 units tho (4u ppl)
