I did 3 electives (in junior school) and was really happy with them but I would have liked to have done sport science. It looked like an awesome course (archery, gymnastic pracs and sport pracs in general) and it had the most awesome teacher!! :D
Bah. Sport Science wasn't offered to our year, but it was introduced the year after.

I was thinking about doing sports science, esp. since I now realise it would've helped me a bit with the Prelim + HSC PD/H/PE course, but I was happy bludging along in computing studies. (it was on the same line)

Why weren't you able to do an extension? Were you unable to do it in Year 11, or did you just not pick it?

i love the story behind my year 9 and 10 electives.
[we got three by the way.]
so in year 9 i did music, japanese and computing studies.
but our computing teacher was crap.
and boring.
and we didn't do anything.
so when we were about to enter year 10 the school began to integrate the new philosophy elective and we were made into the guinea pigs.
and philosophy was only for "selected" students so it was all the smart kids [and me. i swear they made a mistake in the paper work somewhere...] who did computing.
so when they asked which line to put it in we're all like "computing!!!" so we all dropped that. and started philosophy in year 10.
it was fun.
we studied the matrix. :p
