No. The war has been over for nearly two years before we came here. Perhaps the war contributed to deciding towards a move, but we still CHOSE to come here. No one MADE us leave.

I think this is merely a case of, most terrorists are Islamic, not, most Muslims are terrorists. Except in the Australian context, it is frightening to see, that most Australians with the tattoo are civilly driven racists.

While I abhor racism and the like, I also think that political correctness can definitely be taken too far. Branding someone a racist purely because of a tattoo is almost like branding someone inferior because of the colour of their skin.
