Shawn Bradley... the funniest was when Skip got that buzzer beater in his face earlier in the season in Miami.

Apparently Shaq is off to Miami. That would be an interesting move. I think Lakers are getting Odom, Butler and Grant in return. Shaq takes up sooo much salary cap room, i think it is somethin like $27mill next year.
Anyone been following the summer leagues?

Well the above trade is now official as of today.

Also interesting, Kenyon Martin could possibly sign with the Denver Nuggets as soon as Friday - with the Nuggets send 3 first round picks to the Nets. If this would happen the Nuggets would have a pretty formidable frontcourt if all were to stay healthy:

C - Marcus Camby/Nene
PF - Kenyon Martin
SF - Carmelo Anthony

Man what are Lakers thinking, the players lakers got from miami (odom, grant, butler) are worth no where near the value of shaq, even at the stage of his career he is at now. The lakers reign is screwed, even if they do sign Kobe.

Grant , odom, butler, bryant , payton ... a championship winning team? i dont think so.

they need a better center. grant will do shit all, against the likes of Yao and Brad Miller, etc. Payton will be able to do more now, unless Kobe decides to hog the ball heaps, even more than last year (by the way, Kobe has officially re-signed with the lakers). Butler and Odom are young so maybe they will get better. But in general the Lakers are gonna be worse off. Yes!! :D. No more Lakers domination of the West, gives Garnett a chance to win a championship.

i dont see how the nets are gonna win a championship without martin, well not this year at least. Kidd will probaly leave unless theysign someone decent , i dont think jefferson is upto the task as yet.

You forget that with the Charlotte Bobcats into the NBA now, the NBA has re-aligned all the teams into different zones/regions, which would cause New Orleans to go to the West, where they will get absolutely dominated, coming from the East.

The NBA has re-aligned all the teams to create 3 divisions in each conference.

The East is now:
Atlantic - Boston, NJ, NY, 76ers, and Toronto
Central - Chicago, Cleveland, Indiana, Detroit and Milwaukee
Southeast - Orlando, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington and Miami

And West is now:
Southwest - Dallas, Houston, Memphis, San Antonio and New Orleans
Northwest - Denver, Minnesota, Portland, Seattle and Utah
Pacific - Golden State, LA Clippers, LA Lakers, Phoenix and Sacramento
